a week ago today i was high as fuck on sizzurp and drunk as hell on whiskey and tequila trying to hold shit together and dj... it was an amazing night... nako and oOoOO both killed (as usual), rezound was in from new york and he totally fuckin' brought it... but tearist (pronounced tear, as in to rip, ist) may well have kept me alive.

sorry it's been a second... and then some. i've been working on a lot of projects. one of which was this mixtape. i actually finished it weeks ago, but again, the overwhelming crazy that is my life as of late has kept it on the back burner. but here it is, in all its random glory... the particularly amazing part is that side b was mixed by none other than oOoOO... yep that's right, one of the high priests of "witch house" has helped to bring you a fabulous romp through crazytown filled with everything from creeptastic meena kumari remixes to...



120 Minutes is a club night i'm throwing here in san francisco... a video dance club and showcase for independent music... on august 28th LIGHT ASYLUM is playing... it's gonna be absurdly amazing.

¡viva los muertos!

it's getting closer to dia de los muertos/all hallows eve/samhain/what have you... and I'm getting antsy; so me and some friends are putting together a li'l mini festival in honor of all things dark and wicked. The details are in the works right now, but what i can tell you is that we are bringing the disaro records family to the table on this and things are going to be fucking insane... dark and sweaty with some drunk thrown in.

beyond all that, last saturday was pretty ill... so much so that i just said ill. we had the first installment of 120 MINUTES (a night i'm throwing here in SF).  LIGHT ASYLUM played an amazing show,  oOoOO, Harrison, and  Josh killed it with their DJ sets... and i felt solid on my audio/video set...

the importance of synchronicity and happenstance: part 2

so again... i believe very strongly in the concept and importance of synchronicity, as an incredibly powerful manifestation of magic.
as i stated in my last post, said magic has been working very well for me... through a long series of these synchronicity's i have put together an evening of absolute amazing that will be happening here in san francisco on saturday the 28th of august. these synchronicity's have not yet ceased and are creating an ever greater and more fantastic reality for me and you to enjoy...
i have, through no effort of my own, but instead solely through happenstance, begun working with a few other promoters (some of them old friends, some of them new... but all of them incredibly talented and tasteful), to bring this event into fruition.
...and of course there is more... i now have oOoOO (amazing witchhouse project featured on that mixtape salem did for the fader awhile back) booked to do a dj set (along with myself and Nako)(not to mention to play live on september 25th, but more about that later)... this is seriously going to be one of the most amazing events i could ever even witness, much more, be a part of.
..oh, one more thing... the night is entitled 120 minutes (the last two hours will be all music videos) and as promotion i will be releasing a mixtape in the next week or two featuring a 60 minute long A-side mixed by me and 60 minute long B-side mixed by oOoOO. more news on that to come.

Chili pepper seeds are wonderful for protective magick and repelling. Wash them, let them dry out, and then place them in a
little glass jar with a lid. Bless your seeds in any way you wish... Make a label for your jar that reads whatever you like.
You can use the seeds to banish negativity from your home whenever you feel the need.
There are two methods for this:

1. Sprinkle a few seeds around your kitchen or home and then vacuum or sweep them out the back door. (it's best not to sweep toward your front door as you might remove your homes luck.)
2. Place some seeds in a mortar and ground them to a powder. Sprinkle the powder where needed and the proceed to vacuum or sweep up. Discard out your back door.

one of my favorite witch-house (drag) projects right now is oOoOO... and lovely enough it would appear they are based out of san francisco. me too. now i just need to put together a show for them.
